Tiny Tots Program

Where the love for soccer begins

Program structure - Stations Rotation: Sessions designed and delivered through a fun warmup, 8-10 minutes activities with three-station rotations targeting aspects of physical literacy (basic motor skills, coordination) and soccer skills (simple ball interaction drills) to end up with a cool down in a positive, play-based environment.

  • Parents and coaches are encouraged to promote social interactions between all the children and parents. The importance of young players, coaches and parents to observe and follow the sequence of each station is crucial to help players flow through with ease, ‘no lost sheep’.
  • The activities presented have been generated to reflect the essence and understanding of the Canada Soccer’s Long Term Player Development model: https://canadasoccer.com/play-landing/canada-soccer-pathway/

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier for any practice or game, then the players and teams can be ready to start on time.

  • Parents or designated adult must stay at practices and games to supervise their player in case an issue arises.

Strikers Program

Strikers Program

QYSA's representative travel program.

Program structure: Designed for players who demonstrate strong performance, commitment, and development within the club. For this group, it is mandatory to participate in the Annual Goldpan Tournament in the second week of April every year as well as in the Northern Cup hosted by PGYSA in the first week of June to step toward playing at provincials.

Eligibility: Selection is primarily invitation-based, determined through ongoing evaluation during House League sessions. If participation demand requires, additional evaluations or try outs may be organized.

These players will continue with training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays led by the current coaching group.

All participants will be placed on teams based on age and gender, and will be assigned to a dedicated Head Coach who will guide their progress throughout the program.

This program emphasizes friendly matches and encourages participation in various tournaments to provide players with valuable in-game experience.

Strikers program is designed for players seeking a higher level of challenge and development focusing on technical skill progression, tactical understanding, decision-making, and game awareness in a structured training environment. Also, players are encouraged to push their limits while developing discipline, accountability, and teamwork. This program bridges the gap between recreational soccer and high-performance pathways, preparing players for more advanced levels of play.

Strikers reflect QYSA’s commitment to long-term player development and creating opportunities for motivated athletes to reach their potential.

Fast3 Development League

Fast3 Development League

QYSA's newest program!

More Touches. More Decisions. More Fun.

Fast3 is QYSA's exciting small-sided soccer league designed to maximize player involvement, creativity, and enjoyment of the game.

Played in a 3v3 format on smaller fields, Fast3 creates a fast-paced environment where every player is constantly involved in the action. With fewer players on the field, participants receive significantly more touches on the ball, make more decisions, and gain valuable experience in both attacking and defending situations.

Beginning this fall, Fast3 will run Monday evenings. Players will be divided into age-appropriate divisions following registration to create balanced teams and enjoyable competition.

Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills, stay active during the off-season, or simply enjoy more soccer, Fast3 provides a fun, high-energy environment for players of all abilities.

Throughout the season, players will have the opportunity to compete in weekly matches while developing their technical skills, confidence, and understanding of the game in an exciting small-sided format.

Development Focus
Ball mastery and close control
1v1 attacking and defending
Quick decision-making
Creativity and confidence
Speed of play and transitions
Maximum touches and involvement

Fast3 encourages players to play with freedom, solve problems independently, and develop technical skills that transfer directly into the full-sided game.
